Yes, I am a mad scientist, some stuff has worked, some has bombed out. Please feel free to ask questions and be skeptical. Feel free to double check things. DuraTherm is very real, Combary and HaBiTS is very real, and I can defend myself on those easily.
HaBiTS (The Harrington Binary and Ternary System
- Most efficient Binary <-> Ternary system in the world
- Lossless
- Can work on streaming data.
- Works either way
- Converts one to two bits to one trit. For example, in one iteration, 0 = 0, 10 = 1, 11 = 2. Simple, elegant, and responsive. Basically Huffman Encoding. Based upon Combary, but it is Huffman Encoding as well.
